Bristol is set to welcome a brand-new gaming event as the Bristol Video Game Expo makes its debut in 2025. Organized by the same team behind the well-established Nottingham Video Game Expo, this new exhibition aims to build on the success from the last three years with talks, competitions and traders all lined up.

Bristol has seen a surge in video game themed events recently: the Bristol Gaming Market in October 2024 was a hit in the city.

Highlights will include Worms creator Andy Davidson, video game composers Graeme Norgate and Ross Tregenza, an Evercade talk from Sean Cleaver and an exhibition from the Museum of Computing. There will also be a Street Fighter II Turbo competition.

The event will take place on March 1st, 2025 at Hengrove Park Leisure Centre in Bristol, and hosted by Retro Gaming Revival.

I've been gaming since the days of the Amstrad. Huge RPG fan. Planescape: Torment tops my list, but if a game tells a good story, I'm interested. Absolutely not a fanboy of any specific console or PC - the proof is in the gaming pudding. Also, I like cake.
