SkateBIRD continues to look even more wonderfully ridiculous. Debuting a new trailer during the IGN Summer of Gaming Stream on Friday, we got a further glimpse into this four-wheeled, feathery frolic and a release date. SkateBIRD will release on August 12th for Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Amazon Luna.
The new trailer showcases a host of wild new costumes for our titular SkateBIRDs (SkateBIRD-ers?) as well as some silly dialogue moments that suggest there might be more than literal tail grabs over household objects to Glass Bottom Games’ forthcoming release.
Importantly, SkateBIRD still looks very fun and silly and I can’t wait to play it. It was also one of two very different skateboarding games included in IGN’s Summer of Gaming Stream, with OlliOlli World being the other.
