Rejoice! Square Enix has announced that the remasters of Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age are coming to both Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in April this year.

In celebration of the announcement, artist Akihiko Yoshida has also unveiled this stunning artwork for Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age.

Both HD remasters were previously PlayStation 4 exclusives, released in in 2015 and 2017 respectively — both received a brace of graphical updates, overhauls and extra gameplay options. Additional extra features included new music scores, game modes and mechanics that were not available in the original western releases.

All of this will be included in the new console releases.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is due for release on April 16th, while Final Fantasy XII - The Zodiac Age arrives on April 30th.
