The developers behind Lumino City and KAMI 2 have announced their latest narrative adventure game South of the Circle.
According to developer State of Play, South of the Circle will tell the story of a British academic who finds himself stranded in Antarctica during the Cold War. Over the course of the game, players will need to reach bases owned by assorted countries, try to come to terms with their past and choose dialogue options driven by their emotional bonds with other characters.
The game will feature voice performances from Oscar-winning actors, a beautiful art style inspired by mid-century screen printing and has had years of research put into it, according to a press release.
South of The Circle is coming soon to iOS, Mac OS, and tvOS. When there’s a more definitive release date or more news about the game, which has managed to already captivate us with just its trailer (above), you can be sure to read about it here on Jump Dash Roll.
