Ubisoft announced today that Assassin's Creed Valhalla is officially its best-selling PC game ever, and that the game has sold more copies on all platforms in its first week than any other Assassin's Creed game has in the same period of time.

Citing excellent reviews, great player feedback and strong technical performance on all the platforms the game is available on, the game has managed to have double the amount of players than the previous entry into the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, had on launch day.

“We are truly delighted by the enthusiastic response from players and want to thank the fans for their incredible support, said Julien Laferrière, producer on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in a press release. “Delivering this game amid a global pandemic was a true tour de force by our teams and it’s fantastic to see players enjoying the game so much.”

According to Ubisoft, players also have moved across over 4 million kilometers in Valhalla, they have built over 55 million buildings and won 3.5 games of the minigame Orlog.

All of this makes it clear that the game is shaping up to be a lot more interesting than Ubisoft’s other flagship autumn title, Watch Dogs: Legion, so check back later for Jump Dash Roll’s review!

Somebody once told me the world was going to roll me, and they were right. I love games that let me take good-looking screenshots and ones that make me depressed, so long as the game doesn't overstay its welcome.
